Welcome to gotimg.com (“gotimg”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and image-hosting services (the “Service”). By uploading, viewing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Essentials

What gotimg does

gotimg provides a simple way to upload images and receive a shareable link. The Service is free, does not require an account, and uploads are anonymous.

Things you must not do

• Upload content you do not own or have permission to share.
• Upload anything illegal, including child sexual abuse material or non-consensual intimate imagery.
• Upload malware, or content designed to harm, deceive, or defraud.
• Upload content that is defamatory, harassing, or that promotes violence or hatred based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics.
• Use gotimg as a content delivery network (CDN) for your own website, store, or application.
• Scrape, data-mine, or use bots or automated tools to extract content or data from gotimg, including for AI/machine-learning training purposes.

What happens if you break the rules

We may remove your content, block your access, report illegal activity to authorities, and take any other action we deem appropriate — at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

The Details

1. License grant

By uploading content to gotimg, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, display, distribute, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service. This license ends when you or we remove the content from our servers, except where copies have already been shared or cached by third parties.

2. Your content & responsibility

You are solely responsible for any content you upload. You represent and warrant that:

• You own the content or have all necessary rights and permissions to upload and share it;
• Your content does not violate these Terms or any applicable law; and
• Your content does not infringe any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property right of any third party.

3. No account required

Uploads are anonymous and do not require an account. Because we cannot verify the identity of uploaders, we rely on the representations made in these Terms.

4. Removal of content

We may remove any content and suspend or terminate access at any time, with or without notice, at our sole discretion — including content we believe violates these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of others.

5. Copyright & DMCA

We respect intellectual-property rights and respond to valid notices of alleged infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). To report infringing content, please use our Removal Request form or contact us at the address below. We may remove reported content and, where appropriate, take action against repeat infringers.

Your notice should include:

• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
• Identification of the material on our servers to be removed, including the URL;
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized;
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder;
• Your contact information and signature (physical or electronic).

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our express written consent;
• Use the Service as a CDN, hosting backend, or image library for another website or application;
• Reverse-engineer, modify, copy, scrape, or create derivative works based on the Service;
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or extract content from the Service, including for AI or machine-learning purposes;
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive (including limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will remain in effect.

8. Privacy

We collect limited technical information (such as a hashed form of the uploader’s IP address) to operate the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with the law. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITH ALL FAULTS. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE AVAILABILITY, RELIABILITY, OR INTEGRITY OF THE SERVICE OR ANY FILES STORED ON IT.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GOTIMG SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE — EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. YOUR SOLE REMEDY IS TO DISCONTINUE USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless gotimg and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your infringement of any third party’s rights; or (d) any content you upload.

12. Dispute resolution & governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Bernalillo County, New Mexico, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

13. Age requirement

The Service is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. If you are under 13, you may not use the Service. If you are between 13 and 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Entire agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and gotimg regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements or communications on this subject.
